The Snickleway Inn  

One of the oldest pubs in York and is now a listed building.

Inside there are traditional small rooms that give it a cosy feel.

They serve food of the traditional pub variety. As well as hot meals they also do sandwiches. Food is served 12-3 Monday to Saturday, no food Sunday.

The real ales on here are all well served and there are two rotating ales which makes four in all.

Worth seeking out as it is not far from the minster.
