The Slip Inn  

The Slip Inn is a true hidden gem tucked away down Clementhorpe between Bishy Road and the river.

A classic back street local, the pub has a long and rich history, taking its name from the historic slipway which ran along the street outside its front door down to the now long disappeared boat yard on the River Ouse.

The emphasis is on quality ale enjoyed in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. They have four regular beers plus a guest. There is an intimate multi-room interior.

There is a new extension to the rear that incorporates a dining area and kitchen plus a toilet block. They are also planning a microbrewery.

There is a beer garden for summer and the beer festival they host in September.

Children are welcome until 8pm.

Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
