The Pear Tree  

Situated at the foot of Church Hill, this pub has remained largely unaltered for many years. Outside remains the same but inside it has been refurbished of late and given the ubiquitous natural pnie look and feel. Seating is at wooden chairs on wooden flooring. The bar face the road and is a smallish affair. Food is served here and there is a separate room just for it. Food is served from 12-2 and 6-9 during the week and 12-9 on Saturday. They do Sunday lunches too from 12-7pm. Beers here are usually a mixture of staples and new: Burton Ale, Robinson's Bitter, Jennings Cumberland, Whitbread Flowers.
