Hogshead

On the corner of Stafford Street, the Hogshead is 5 minutes from the railway station and near the Civic hall and bus station.

Done out in the same decor as the rest of the chain it is hard to tell where you are once inside, but there are plenty of nooks and crannies to sit in.

It serves up to ten real ales often from local microbreweries, plus up to three ciders and five keg beers.

Food is served most of the day, there is a pizza and burger menu, but other options are available.

There is now a separate area for the pool table.

TV's show sport and music videos throughout.

10% discount for for CAMRA members.

Quiz and open mic nights.

Access for the disabled is OK through a separate doorway.

No accommodation here but see other listings for details.
