The Three Horseshoes

The Three Horseshoes is a traditional 16th Century pub just a few minutes from the busy A41 but tucked away down a narrow lane which opens out on to the Grand Union Canal. The pub is full of beams, nooks and crannies and three inglenook fireplaces - with real fires in winter. For the summer there is a canal side patio where you can watch the boats sail through the swing bridge.

Traditional pub food is served all day every day - home made Steak and Ale Pie or Sausage and Mash - though there is a very limited selection for vegetarians. They also do Sunday roasts with a veggie option.

The real ales are usually Spitfire, Black Sheep and Adnams Broadside with an occasional guest. They have Hoegaarden for those not into real ale.

There is a small car park opposite the pub for 15 cars and an overflow car park further down the lane. Very close to Hemel Hempstead train station.
