The Man in the Wall

This is a controversial pub in a small Dorset town. The locals thought it would lower the tone of the town, but so far it has proved a welcome addition.

The pub itself is tastefully decorated inside and out. There are multiple areas to sit in, from the long bar area to the front rooms with sofas and coffee tables. Most of the pub is set out with the traditional tables and chairs, though they are little upmarket here and have modern dining chairs and tables all dark wood.

It is a long pub that benefits from a skylight the length of the pub on one side. This adds an airy sense to the place.

As is usual here, they serve up to eight beers at any one time, with a regular portion of them from the locale scheme.

Food is also served here and is the same menu found elsewhere - beware the Wetherspoons ruse of pricing to the market. This is a wealthy area, so food (and beer) costs you a bit more than say, one of their inner city pubs.

Access for the disabled and children are allowed in. also their is free wifi here.
