The Star and Garter  

Taken over in 2006 by new Tenants who have put some effort into making this a good pub once more.

Though an Everard's pub there are three regular ales on plus up to five changing guest ales. One ale is kept keenly priced.

Food is served six days a week (not Monday) but only at lunchtime 12-2pm (4pm Sunday). There is also a discount for senior citizens.

Quiz night is Sunday.

The Star has a skittle alley for hire for works doos, etc.
