Red House

A free house with an excellent beer garden at the rear. Plenty of parking to the side and near the town centre. A two bar pub the main bar is bare flagged floor with a huge TV and loud music. Stools at the bar and couple of seating areas are the only comforts - toilets are in the corner. The bar is 'L' shaped and serves three beers, though only two were 'real' ales this time: Cheriton Pots Ale and Tisbury Summer Ale. Down the hill from the railway station it's just off the main shopping area out towards Overton. The second bar has more to offer including peace and quiet. The restaurant area is always booked so try and call early to get your place. Food is more than traditional and good-value. There is a real fire too. Access for the disabled is OK during the day in the public bar, but elsewhere is difficult.
