The Wellington Arms

This pub has been through a few hands, but has come out on top. It is now owned by Marston's - which as we know is really Wolverhampton and Dudley. However, that has not stopped some good ales from being served.

The ales on here come from the breweries owned by W & D - Ringwood Best, Jennings Bitter and a guest, usually from a local supplier like Wadworth.

Food is served here (Mon-Thu 12-7pm, Fri/Sat 12-9pm, Sun 12-5) and is home cooked and wholesome. Local produce is used where possible and they do Sunday lunches too. Also check out the brunch, which is a real stomach filler.

The pub has short bar, but it is easy to get served. Tables are set out opposite with padded bench seating around the wall and square tables. The décor is very pubby with bits and bobs on the walls and a large mirror at one end.

If you are in Weymouth, this is another good pub to stop at.
