Crown Inn

Situated on a fast road through the village you could miss this pub if you drive too fast. A recent refurbishment has made it more noticeable. There are usually three ales on, and as this is Suffolk, one will be Adnams.

The Village Bar is comfortable with the bar itself to the left in front of you as you enter. Seating is at tables and chairs with some padded wall seating.

Food is served lunch and evenings and is good value - check out the specials nights. They also cater for special ocassions if you want to hold a party here.

There is entertainment every Wednesday and Friday is poker night.

There is a real fire in winter in the Village Bar.

Car park to the rear and beer garden at front.

Access for the disabled is possible.

Comments

The outside looks pretty good and the main bar has carpet. I would still say it is very much a locals pub, the land lord and clientèle are all very welcoming and the food and beer all excellent. Home cooked Pies & Lasagne, Fish and Chips fried to order and a good selection of local ales. There is also accommodation with en suite, TV, Tea & Coffee - all you would expect and again excellent and very good value. I would certainly drop in if you are passing along the B1116.
