The Blue Bell Inn  

A cute village pub that dates from the 1890's. Naturally there is a friendly atmosphere that comes from such a small place.

This is an Elgoods pub and naturally serves their beers, up to 5 ales. However, they are good beers and where better to sample them than here.

Food is also served lunchtime 12-2 with occasional evening specials. Sunday lunch is served 12-2pm and costs about £8 for the works.

Was here last week visiting girlfriends relatives. I can highly recommend! Sunday lunch was more than ample and the chips were brilliantly cooked (always important!). They were out of Black Dog but i can recommend the Cambridge, very malty ale and at a reasonable price. Very friendly bar staff also. Look forward to visiting again next year! (Steve - 28/10/04)
