The Black Horse Inn

This Pub is now under community management.

It was knocked down and rebuilt a few feet further back from the road in 2006.

It now features plenty of real ales and is more comfortable, though follows the same design as the old pub.

A previous winner of the local CAMRA pub of the year & month awards. You enter from the side.

There is a single bar in the recently redecorated pub and the heating has been improved.

There are usually five ales on including one brewed for the pub. All the beers were tried and seemed well kept, not too cold but refreshing in the sunshine.

Seating is comfortable.

The Black Horse Inn serves food both lunch and evenings: Tue - Fri 6-9, Sat 12-3 & 6-9, Sun 12-4.

Well worth a stop off the M1 on your way north or South as it is directly on the road east. A beer garden to the rear with views welcomes you in the summer.
