The Anchor

The Anchor at Walberswick was recently taken over by Mark and Sophie Dorber, who are bringing the high standards of their well known Parson’s Green pub, The White Horse, to the coast. Mark’s vast knowledge of beer and wines, and Sophie’s insistence upon the freshest, seasonal, local produce, ensure that The Anchor at Walberswick is fast becoming a welcoming local and a gastronomic destination.

There should be some good beers on here for you to try as well as wines.

Te food will be gastro pub normal with prices to match, so be warned. All meals are freshly prepared and use their own ingredients as well as locally produced ones.

Children are welcome here a the pub is a stone's throw from the beach and village green. There is an area called the 'hidden coppice' in the grounds where children can safely play. The gate from the main gardens takes you to the beach.

The Anchor offers accommodation - in six garden rooms and two bedrooms in the main building. Prices start from £75 for a single to £90 for a double.

Pets welcome.
