The Sussex Arms  

Part of a chain, this pub has real fires for winter and a large well equipped beer garden that is family friendly.

They serve up to fifteen real ales plus sixteen kegs and six ciders/perries. There is plenty of choice for everyone.

Food is served all day Monday to Sunday and includes burgers, pies, steaks and much more.

Inside is very traditional (a heritage pub), even if the outside looks more modern. The long bar allows people to get served, though the bar space is narrow. There is plenty to look at on the walls and ceiling. The floor is modern wipe clean.

They have regular live music. Quiz night is every Wednesday from 8pm.

Dogs are welcome.
