The Gurnard's Head

The Gurnard's Head is a traditional Cornish country pub with good food and comfortable ensuite accommodation located in the hamlet of Treen on the spectacular Atlantic coast road (B3306) between St Ives and Land's End in the far west of the Duchy.

The Gurnard’s Head stands out like a beacon against a patchwork of fields and the Atlantic Ocean. This Georgian coaching inn is close to the South West Coast Path and is a frequent pitstop for walkers. A recent refurbishment and ownership change has given the inn a smartness. It specialises in seasonal food, sourced as local as it can. The daily menu changes often includes fish caught in the cove behind the pub, as well as berries from the hedgerows. The beers come from the local Cornish brewers like Skinner’s Brewery
- Betty Stogs or Heligan Honey, or Sharp's Doom Bar.
