Elephant & Castle  

An Everards pub that serves 5 ales from its small bar - including two guest ales.

A long thin pub, the Castle serves food Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes and Tuesday to Saturday evenings. It also does Sunday lunches. There are specialty food nights in the week.

Inside there is a single (dual) bar which also opens onto the dedicated eating area to the rear. The pub has beams and a genuine old fashioned feel to it. Very pub like but at the same time welcoming. Seating is at wall settles and chairs/stools and there are open dividing beams to give the small space a sense of privacy.

The eating area (though you can eat in the pub if you wish) is more modern but still in the traditional style in keeping with the rest of the pub.

Service is swift and friendly and all the staff are helpful and accommodating.

The food is good wholesome traditional food and there are options for vegetarians - see website for choices. Food night specials are available with 2 for £10.

There is a beer patio/garden for the summer and a children's play area

Large car park available, albeit through a narrow entrance to the right of the pub opposite a road junction.
