Very tasty real ales, well kept and served and a very good selection. Wonderful open coal fire, snug surroundings and very friendly atmosphere. The newly refurbished dining room set in a contemporary style yet retains its homely comfortable atmosphere.

Very good quality and large sized portions. Good variety of dishes on the menu, plenty to chose from. Served from 12 noon to 2pm and from 6.30pm untill 9.15pm.

Not the most up to date decor but very comfortable beds with such quiet, peaceful surroundings. Good clean en-suite bathrooms, with a bath or shower depending on preference. Also, TVs and tea making thingys in room. The breakfast rocked! Such large portions and very well cooked. They really give you the personal touch at this place.
