Quartz Brewery  

This is the brewery shop for Quartz Brewery. It is also the bottling hub for the brewery too.

The shop/bar is situated at the rear of the Heart of the Country Village near Lichfield on the A38. Unfortunately you can only get to it from the southbound lane of the dual carriageway.

The bar is opposite you as you enter. The whole room is a small affair with a couple of high tables with tall stools at them and some display shelves with the brewery's products on them. Out side there are a couple of round picnic tables and chairs with brollies on the 'patio'. It all looks very civilised and friendly. It is also quiet this far down the shopping area.

On the bar this visit was Crystal and Heart, their new brew. Both were served well with or without the sparkler and the staff were very pleasant and friendly.

As this is primarily a place you can come to buy the wares, they sell the complete range in a variety of formats, either singly or in presentation packs and mini casks. You can also bring your own legal container if you wish. They will also provide your party with a firkin if you give enough notice.

There is an upstairs area used for meetings and presentations.

Well worth a visit if you have walked round Lichfield all day. Also close to the National Arboretum War Memorial.

No accommodation here. Although not cheap, Swinfen Hall Hotel is next door.
