Wellington Arms Hotel
Situated on the Duke of Wellington’s estate, this original 17th century farmhouse and now grade II listed Hotel is the perfect setting.
Situated in the heart of Hampshire, the hotel has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The 29 rooms have been recently refurbished offering guests excellent facilities for overnight stays, and a varied menu promises fine dining.
The Wellington Arms Hotel assures you of a friendly welcome and courteous service. Although it has the feel of a hotel, it still has a local pub feel in the bar area. It has one bar, the lounge where you can relax in homely surroundings whilst enjoying the excellent range of home cooked bar meals and well kept real ales from Badger.
If you are feeling a little more posh, you can dine in the restaurant where they offer expertly prepared traditional English Fayre complemented by a choice of fine wines.
The hotel is easily accessible, on the A33 road between Basingstoke and Reading, in the village of Stratfield Turgis and is just ten minutes drive from the M4 and Reading Station to the north.
There is a accommodation here and all are en-suite and there is a four-poster for newly-weds.
