The Gate Hangs Well  

The name of the pub refers to a toll gate on the crossroads where a toll had to be paid to enter the town and it's a name that can only be found in the Midlands area.

I'm sure you will find it a welcoming establishment offering quality fare complemented with friendly service. They take their food and drink very seriously. Food is served 12-2.30, 6-9pm Monday to Saturday, 12-4 Sunday. All food is fresh and cooked to order. It is served in a relaxed and pleasant environment.

The pub is located in the heart of the worcestershire countryside amongst rolling hills and woodland. There are no main roads to distract you from the piecefull location just beautiful views.

The pub has won a number of awards: Beautiful Beer Award 2006, Camra Pub of the Season 2005, Cask Marque Certification 2005 & 2006, Good Beer Guide 2007.
