The Carpenters Arms  

A country pub and restaurant with two separate bars.

The lounge bar and restaurant has a non-smoking area and the public bar has a dart board and unobtrusive sports TV.

Good quality pub food is served, which also includes a specials menu. It also has an excellent reputation for traditional and vegetarian food. The prices are extremely favourable at around £6-7 for a very generous portion (Take Away food is sold at 10% off menu prices). Food is served at lunchtimes from 12-2.30pm, and evening meals are served Tuesday to Friday from 6.30 to 9pm. At weekends the times differ and are from 12 to 9pm.

Overall, there is well kept real ales and a friendly atmosphere.

No accommodation here, but local B&B is available.

Access from Leighton Buzzard train station is 3.5 miles. Live entertainment is provided on Monday evenings (Brian Smith, 2002).
