THIS BAR HAS CLOSED FOR GOOD.

This still has the George Bate's Gun Shop signage on the outside, but is now a wine/bottle bar. It is run by the same people who own the Floodgates.

They do not serve any draught real ale here, but do have UK and continental bottled beers and speciality gins plus some craft keg.

Inside is small, shop-like really, with a back room area with writing on the walls and an assortment of comfy chairs.

No food here.

There is a real fire here for winter.

Dog friendly.
