The White Lion  

The White Lion is renowned for the quality of our varied and interesting dishes. All our food is homemade and ingredients are carefully sourced. The menus are changed regularly to add new, exciting choices and to bring back old favourites. There is also a "Specials" board that changes daily.

Food is served from Tuesday to Saturday at lunchtime (between 12 midday and 2pm) and from Monday to Saturday during the evening (between 6:30pm and 8:30pm). No food Monday lunchtimes.

Meals are cooked to order from fresh ingredients so may take a little longer than in lesser establishments - if pressed for time, phone ahead with your order.

Beer here is always good as you would expect from the CAMRA HQ town. There are always some good guests on and up to 6 ales are served.

There is occasional music on here.
