The Fishermen's Rest  

Extensively refurbished in 2010, it provides a warm welcome and restful retreat from the outside world. Formerly the Birkdale Palace Coach House.

They serve up to four real ales, mainly from the regional's.

Food is available every day and is wholesome and filling. Choices range from fish to pies.

Inside is modern in style with a small wooden bar. Walls are a mixture of brick and plaster with faux leather chairs and dark carpet. Some seating is a long bench around a wall. Plenty of pictures adorn the walls.

Quiz night is held every Thursday night from 9pm.
