The Barons Bar  

What a superb pub! The beer was in excellent condition, these people really know what they are doing. The staff where friendly, polite, informative and knowledgable. The bar had just finished their own week long beer festival which had over 100 beers so I am told, anyhow I am now a regular in this pub.

The bar is decorated with shields and knights armour, at the bar there is 3 arches covered in pump clips obviously from previous beers they have had.

Good atmosphere and staff.

There is disabled access from the side entrance, however the disabled toilets are found on the first floor of the hotel but there is a lift.

The pub has gents toilets and the ladies can be found just outside the bar in one of the other bars.

They didn't serve food when I went there (although there was lots of nibbles on the bar and tables), but that was in the evening, but they do serve barmcakes daily in the afternoon.
