The Golden Acres  

THIS PUB IS CLOSED AT PRESENT.

This is a traditional community pub that serves the Land Rover workers but also the locals who live on the estate surrounding it.

The pub has gone from strength to strength since being taken over by a landlord who likes real ale and up to 3 are served here plus a traditional cider.

Food is also served here and is authentic Chinese to eat in or take away. Food is served Monday to Saturday (not Tuesdays) 5-11.30pm and Sundays 5-10.30pm (11.30pm takeaway).

They show big screen sports and have a karaoke night every Thursday. Music is also on Saturday nights. Tuesdays and Thursdays are darts nights.

The interior has a few rooms, one of which is turned over to a Chinese restaurant. The main room is open plan and there is a bar/lounge configuration. There is a stained glass cupola as well.

Train just in range at 1.2 miles away - Hampton-in-Arden.
