The Globe Inn  

The only pub in the village serving Marston's beers, but also Landlord and Doombar.

The “Globe Inn” is a 19th Century coaching Inn situated adjacent to the Ashby canal in the picturesque Derbyshire village of Snarestone. The Inn has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment program to redesign and improve the Bar, Lounge, Restaurant and Kitchen areas. The bar has been designed to maintain the feel of a country pub with an inglenook fireplace and open fire for those chilly winter evenings. The bar itself is slightly more contemporary with granite surfaces and soft lighting.

The lounge area is very cosy with chesterfield settees and comfy chairs arranged around a log burning stove. The lounge is carpeted throughout for your comfort.

Food is served here daily Monday to Saturday 12-2.30 and 6-9pm. Sunday lunch is 12-4pm. Food created using locally sourced produce. The restaurant has been completely renovated with a new solid oak floor, mood lighting, French kitchen style tables and an eclectic mix of dining chairs.

Children welcome, there is a play area and a beer garden.

Caravans welcome.

Canal side moorings available.
