The Harlequin  

Recently refurbished and renamed, this pub now has up to 10 ales on plus cider/continental beer on tap and bottled continental beers and a range of malt and single whiskey. House beers brewed by the local Brew Company.

Food is also served 12-2pm and 6-9pm Monday to Friday and 12-6pm on Saturday. So a late breakfast or brunch can be had here. Sunday 12.30-3pm. Choices are traditional and there are alternatives for vegetarians.

The inside is clean and friendly and the decor is reminiscent of a traditional pub. There are stools at he bar and a split level. It can get a little dark in here, but it adds to the ambiance.

One of the river pubs this is going to be one the pus to visit on a crawl.

Not too far from the Shalemoor tram stop.
