Horse and Jockey

Another Nottinghamshire pub that dates back to the 17th century - 1664 to be precise.

The pub itself promotes as being the 14th oldest pub in Britain. Beer served here come in jugs if you want and you have a choice from 6, but only towards the end of the week and weekends.

The pub itself is a beacon for historians with its low beamed ceilings and flagstone floors. There are various rooms here including a games room with pool and darts. The other rooms are a snug for quiet moments and a lounge.

Food is served here but only at lunchtimes Monday to Friday and consists of basic fodder like soup, chips, sandwiches, etc.

Music is played here on a Wednesday and is folk orientated. You can join in if you bring an instrument.

Access for the disabled is possible and children are welcome if well behaved.

No accommodation here.
