Not far from Oswestry this pub nestles at the side of the road and isa just a mile from Offas Dyke. Inside you are in a piece of history with quarry-tiled floors and half-panelling. There are a number of rooms in this pub each with their own rustic ambiance. The public bar is traditional with a small fireplace and long bar. Seating is at tables with stools under a beamed ceiling. A games room is also here with pool and a long settle. The lounge has chairs with its tables on carpet. Another small fire warms here. Brass and pictures abound here in the room which doubles up as a music room for regular folk nights. Unfortunately there is no food here. Accommodation is in the self catering part of the pub and is spacious and has a separate entrance.
