The Mark Addy
Named after the Victorian local hero who died in 1890 at the age of 51. He was famous for rescuing no fewer than 50 people from the then dangerous waters of the River Irwell and was the only civilian to have received the Albert Medal (Victoria Cross) from Queen Victoria.
They serve up to five ales here, including a beer named after the pub by Redwillow.
Food is served here Monday to Friday 12-3pm, 5-9pm; Saturday 12-10pm; Sunday 12-6pm
There is an outdoor dining area complete with BBQ.
The pub is for hire too, including weddings, birthdays, etc.
