The Bell and Bear  

This pub has a welcoming feel to it. Built in 1601 it still has that old pub feel.

They usually serve 7 ales including Taylor's Landlord, Abbott and London Pride plus guests. There is also a beer festival in May.

Food is served here Monday to Saturday from 12 till 9pm (meal deal 12-5pm). All food is home-made and not out of a packet. Choices are traditional pub food and there is a special meat "Sizzler Night" on Tuesdays for a bargain price including a drink. Sundays also have special traditional roasts.

There is a quiz night here on Thursday and Sunday from 9pm with a beer prize. Tuesday night is poker night.

No accommodation here.
