The Brewhouse

This was the brew pub of the Poole Brewery previously. It has now been taken over by the Frome Brewery and serves at least two of their ales. There is real cider here.

The inside hasn't changed that much yet. It is reminiscent of a 1970s saloon bar. The obligatory CD jukebox might put off some, but it does not detract from the beer.

Others may be put off by the lack of seating - standing room only at busy times. Being in the High Street it is close to the train station (5 mins walk) and the bus station (8 - 10 mins walk).

The pub is towards the middle/harbour end of the shopping street and you can have a tipple while you spend.

A real drinking pub.

Open all day.
