The Horseshoes
This is an Everards pub on the outskirts of Nuneaton. It is situated by the George Eliot Hospital so is easy to find.
A £130k refurbishment has created a welcoming pub inside and out. There is a single bar at right angles to the entrance, stained in dark wood. Here you will find 6 ales from Everards as they own the pub. The beers were all well kept and served.
Fresh food is served here throughout the day. There are speciality food nights on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.
There is a single room throughout. The main bar area has bench seating and tables and stools along the wall; to the left of the bar are some booths; a former snug with fireplace and leather chairs is now part of the main room.
For the summer there is a beer garden by the car park at the rear.
If you follow the road (B4112) past the pub you get to Ansley and the Lord Nelson Inn where Tunnel Brewery used to be based.
Well worth going to the edge of Nuneaton for.
The train station is 1.4 miles away.
