The Horse and Groom  

This is one of the Bartch chain of pubs. It serves 8 real ales, two of which are permanent.

The pub is welcoming and has a number of areas to sit, including a function room.

Seating is a padded bench along the walls with dark wood tables and chairs. Disabled access is possible too.

There is a quiz on Monday nights.

The tram stops nearby - 'Shipstone Street' - and is on the way to the Fox and Crown in Basford.

Worth a stop.
