The Railway Tavern  

Close to the railway station, this is a small corner pub. There is a single room for the bar and seating. It is very cosy when busy, but can feel like you are intruding when not. It has the feel of a Victorian dwelling.

It serves up to two real ales.

Sports TV shown here. There is also a jukebox.

Traditional pub games played here like dominoes and darts.

There is a real fire for the winter.

Note the list on the wall of drinking establishments that once existed in the town.
