The Elephant and Castle  

The Elephant and Castle is an old coaching hotel on the banks of the River Severn, next to a bridge.

The bar area is reached straight off the road and is kitted out in modern décor with sofas and chairs. The main bar area is open plan and has a number of TVs on all day.

There are up to four ales served here, though less during the early part of the week.

Food is served here lunch and evenings. Choices are traditional and varied.

Hotel reception is round the back in a separate part of the building. You can walk though the bar to get to it, but it is easier to head directly to the car park at the rear where the purpose built reception awaits.

There are a few benches/tables outside by the river wall, on the same access as the car park.

Disabled access is possible to the hotel, but not the bar.

A function room is available in the hotel.
