The Bell Hotel  

This is a pub siuated a short walk from the town centre and almost opposite the Textile Museum.

This was a Victorian hotel with a public bar and pool table, darts and a live entertainment area on the left as you walk in.

Another more comfortable seating area is on the right.

There are two real ales available here plus a real cider. CAMRA discount scheme operates here.

There is accommodation here but usually caters for workmen away from home.

Food is only served in the evening.

Sports TV shown here.

Occasional live music.
