The Blacksmiths Head
The Blacksmiths Head was built in 1924 on the site of an old smithy. It offers a traditional welcome on the Sussex/Surrey borders and is 15 minutes from Gatwick airport. A non-smoking restaurant adjoins the pub area. Beers served here tend to be from local breweries such as Harvey's Best and in the past Brakespear's Bitter. They also serve Fuller's London Pride as well as an ever-changing range of guest ales, usually from other smaller independent brewers. All are well kept and the pub has won awards for its cellar craft. You can find the pub in the Good Beer Guide. Food is served here throughout the day and a full a la carte selection is available throughout the pub. There is accommodation here with luxury en-suite available.
