High House Farm Brewery  

High House Farm Brewery is based on a 200 acre working farm in Northumberland, just half a mile from Hadrian's Wall. We produce high quality single hopped real ale, made from home grown malt and Northumbrian water. Our beers come in four different varieties and are all named after
our farm collie dogs. The beers have won CAMRA Regional Awards and SIBA Regional and National Awards. At the end of July 2006 we are opening a new visitor centre, comprising an interpretation room which overlooks the
brewery, café, shop, bar and function room. The beers are as follows:

Auld Hemp 3.8% ABV - this is a fine amber coloured traditional bitter with a fresh malty aroma. It is a true session beer that delivers a highly rewarding drink.

Nel's Best 4.2% ABV - Goldings Hops blended with the finest English malt produces this full-bodied golden coloured premium ale, very pleasant to drink, and easy on the palate

Black Moss 4.3% ABV - Our new beer is a dark full bodied quality ale with a lightly roasted aroma, and a smooth bitter chocolate finish.

Matfen Magic 4.8% ABV - this traditional brown ale, is hopped with a combination of Fuggles and Brambling Cross. The premium ale has a beautiful aroma of blackberries and autumn fruits, with malty and chocolate overtones.
