The Salopian Star  

This is a tap for the Salopian brewery it seems as it has three of their ales on. The beers were all well kept and tasted great.

You enter up steps and into a traditional wooden bar area, with panels on the walls and a wood floor. You can sit at the bar or at tables - to the rear is the TV area with bench seating. There is a fruit machine and music on here.

There is no food served here, but we were fortunate to arrive when a part was being held with a buffet and were invited to join in. That's how friendly they are here.

The toilets are basic and cold in winter and there is a beer garden out back and a car park.
