The Horse and Jockey  

The Horse and Jockey is a freehouse in the village of Manton on the south shore of Rutland Water. It was recently refurbished and is a charming traditional country inn with open fires, stone floors and low beams.

They serve up to four ales including one named for the pub.

Food is served here lunch and evening and all day Sunday. It is traditional pub fayre, but wholesome.

For the summer there is a patio area.

It is popular with cyclists.
