The Kirkstile Inn  

The Kirkstile Inn, Loweswater is situated in between two lakes (Loweswater and Crummock Water.) in the North West Lake District. There has been a building here since Tudor times. The upper floors have a creak to them, reminding you this is an old building with history.

Accommodation here both self catering and 11 other rooms including a family suite.

The pub has a couple of rooms for eating and drinking and is a traditional country pub style with log fires, oak beams and a wealth of history. dotted about the walls.

They serve food here from a team of six chefs. All food is unpretentious and home-cooked from local suppliers.

The onsite brewery is the Cumbrian Legendary Ales brewery and they always have up to six of their own ales on, plus a guest.

There is a beer garden for summer.
