The Plough

Take a right turn by the Queens Collage Arms [signposted to Bramely] and then after a few hundred yards take a left into the village of Little London. You will then find The Plough on the left at the top of the hill. If you are coming from any other). This pub is based on the edge of Pamber Forest and surrounded by some beautiful countryside. The village is just a few miles north of Basingstoke, a little off the beaten track but well worth finding. Not far away are the ancient remains of the Roman city of Calleva which during Roman times was actually the capital of England. Beers on at the time were: Ringwood Best, Ringwood Porter, Abbots Ale, Wetherheads Bitter. You could try your hand at a traditional game of bar billiards, or throw some arrows at the dartboard. The landlord, Terry is very vocal and even has his own web site for the pub. It is really a locals pub for the village, it's such a gem it's well worth the occasional stare and the "you're not from round these 'ere parts?" Of course we must not forget Jodie the pub dog.
