The Chequers  

This pub now has its own brewery - 'Son of Sid' and serves a selection of their ales. It also does a guest ale.

There is no food here except for a Friday night - you can even order it in advance, but nothing at other times.

It is a locals pub with a friendly atmosphere.

For winter there is a real fire.

No accommodation here.
