The Whippet Inn  

This used to be a dress shop before it was turned into a micro pub.

The name comes from a Carry On film with its sexual connotations.

The pub is small, with seating for only 25 and being totally full at 40 souls standing nose to tail.

It serves up to five real ales from micro breweries mostly. It also has one real cider available, plus fruit wine plus craft cans.

There are no meals served here, but you can get a pork pies or scotch egg if you wish, and there is a free cheeseboard on Sunday's from 1:30pm.

Dog friendly.

Music Thursday evenings from 6pm.
