The Pub  

THIS PUB IS CLOSED.

The pub has a single window frontage with seating outside onto New Walk. Inside the pub is long rather than wide and the bar is at the end. On this padded bar you will find a number of handpumps. All are well kept as you would expect, but a little cold for my taste. Prices are not too bad either.

No food here.

The décor is modern with stripped wood floors and some sofas and some high stools at high tables. Walls are a little bare at the moment. The toilets are compact and there is some ceiling damage in the gents already. The ladies are much nicer.

The Entrance can be a little off putting as they share a door with the burger bar next door. Not that we've seen it, but late at night I can imagine a rowdy crew in the burger joint putting off sensible real ale drinkers. However, that's yet to materialise.
