After a complete revamp by Everards, this has turned into a decent pub worth being on the trail if you go to Leicester.

The pub is a short stroll off Aylestone Road not far from the Swan and Rushes and the Leicester Royal Infirmary and De Montfort University.

This is ostensibly a sports pub as it is not far from the football and rugby grounds. So Saturday's during the seasons gets a little busy before and after a game.

They serve up to six real ales at weekends and a few less during the week. Check the website for what's on. There is a 10p a pint discount to CAMRA members.

Access for the disabled is possible. They also have free WiFi.
