Royal Pug  

A popular town centre pub, though more on the outskirts from the shopping area.

It is the sister pub of the Fat Pug.

The building is Victorian, painted in muted colours inside and out.

The central bar is right in front of you as you enter and can sometimes cause difficulty if busy as it is close to the doors. The rest of the pub is open plan.

It serves up to five guest ales plus a Greene King ale. Blue Moon in bottles.

Food is served here all day and there are choices for vegetarians, etc.

There is a large function room upstairs. A hard standing beer garden for summer.

The pub hosts a popular quiz night every Tuesday.

Live music here and sports TV.

Disabled Access, dog friendly and children allowed.
