This pub is more about food than beer, but still does a good selection of ales - though they tend to come from the regionals rather than micro-brewers.

The pub has a big car park and if you know the area, this is essential for the big cars people can afford round here.

The inside is done out as rustic cottage with tile/flag floors and wood and chintz and small windows - all very tasteful.

Prices for beer can be steep at £3 and higher. This is also reflected in the food - excellent quality - which is also expensive for what it is. Really a gastro pub and if you treat it as such you will have a good experience.

Some steps, but accessible for wheelchair users in part.
